Welcome
Here, you will find my fun projects, and personal interest. In order to see the serious side of me, go to my company's website at Inhite Ventures. You can also view my professional profile on LinkedIn. I wanted to share information and help others, and so I started to develop this personal site.

Behind the scene! Brainstorming for the right domain name was an adventure. Landing the domain name was an event. I finally decided to combine my two first names to create carlkhanh | www.CarlKhánh.com.

The intent of this site is to share information and to keep it simple and enjoyable as well as to connect with friends, families, and other professionals. The site will be updated occasionally with new information, features, and functions, such as videos, audios and photos.

Venture Capital: Sports Analogy, Entrepreneurs Setting Their Mind Right For Investors
Getting investors to invest in a startup and or an early-stage company is a challenge. Knowing what to say and how to present the right documents and materials could cause the management team the funding or not. The obstacle course of going through the investment process is analogous to playing an American game of baseball. When entrepreneurs seek funding from angel investors and or venture capitalists for their emerging company, they should imagine themselves as if they were a professional baseball player at bat anticipating for the fast incoming baseball.

The odds of a batter hitting a home run each time at bat is statistically quite small. Similarly, entrepreneurs pitching their investment opportunity to investors before getting an investor onboard is far short from hitting a home run. Eventually, entrepreneurs will get better at pitching their opportunity while learning more ways to improve their business and investment presentation.

Drawing on a sports analogy, i.e. baseball, can help you consider the steps that are needed to avoid repeated rejection as you step up the plate. The focus can help you clear obstacles and prepare you to avoid costly mistakes. It is necessary to target and position your investment pitch to increase your chances of satisfying investors and or venture capitalists. More: visit Inhite at www.inhite.com.
